Wow I can’t imagine being there without AC. Something or the only thing I like about this part of the world is that we do have AC inside the houses. I think I would dieeeeee! At least you have a good AC playground hahhahah. That ice cream looks delicious
I know! It’s honestly unbearable. 😅 Having AC everywhere is definitely one of the perks of living there.
The funny thing is that when we renovated our apartment years ago, our contractor actually suggested installing AC because we’re on the top floor. We both looked at him like he was crazy. “This is the Netherlands!” We said a very confident no. Who’s laughing now? 😂
Ending the day with homemade ice cream definitely helps, though. The mango, lime and ginger one is so refreshing. You should try!!
It’s good! It’s been a very wet summer with loads of rain. I think this week there is a heat warning. But because there is AC in the house we are ok hahaha
I simply use a blender! I therefore recommend eating it soon after making it. By the next day, it turns into a solid block and loses that ice cream texture 🧊🍦
Ah yeah of course!! Didn’t think about the texture change when freezing. I was looking for an excuse to buy the Ninja ice cream maker 😂🫣but this sounds pretty easy
Haha, that’s funny! A friend got one for her birthday two weeks ago, and it’s been on my wishlist since.
She did say it takes about 24 hours to make the ice cream. So I’d say: use that one when you’re feeling like Italian gelato, and use my recipes when there is an ice cream emergency 😂
